This project aims at studying minors' participation in politics and their involvement with political issues in Russia in comparative perspective. The goal of the project is to better theorize what "political maturity" is. The project is based on in-depth biographical interviews with adolescent participants of public conflicts at schools, nationwide political protests, local protests, and pro-governmental youth initiatives; ethnographical observations at rallies and local protests; and cognitive quasi-experiments. The data was collected from 2011 to 2021.
